Kongsberg International Preschool FUS er en to avdelings barnehage med barn fra 0 til 6 år , Nursery fra 0-3år og Preschool fra 3-6 år. Hos oss lærer barna både engelsk og norsk.
Vi holder til sentralt beliggende ved industritunet i sentrum.
Vi jobber ut i fra en internasjonal bakgrunn samt det norske lovverket.

Det viktigste vi gjør i løpet av dagen på Nursery er å leke, for vi kjenner til lekens betydning for barnas utvikling. I tillegg til barnehagens egne satsningsområder deler vi FUS barnehagenes arbeid med egenledelse i lek og læring.

På Preschool har vi også mye lek men vi har også strukturerte læringsaktiviteter som vi jobber tverrfaglig med. Vi har fokus på barns nysgjerrighet og undring. Som en internasjonal Preschool ønsker vi å stimulere barna våre til å utvikle internasjonalt tankesett, bevissthet rundt samfunnet vi befinner seg i uansett hvor i verden man er, bli kjent med ulike kulturer og tradisjoner som til enhver tid er representert hos oss. Dette gjøres selvfølgelig på barnas premisser.

Kongsberg International Preschool FUS is a two-department kindergarten with children from 0 to 6 years. Nursery from 0-3 years and Preschool from 3-6 years. Children learn both English and Norwegian during their time with us.
We are centrally located nearby Kongsberg International School.
We work on an international basis as well as following Norwegian law.

The most important thing we do during the day in the Nursery is to play, because we know the play is important for children's development. In addition to this, we also share FUS kindergartens work with children developing their own learning through play.

In Preschool, we also have a lot of play but we have also structured learning activities that we work interdisciplinary. We focus on children's curiosity and wonder. As an international Preschool we want to encourage children developing an international mindset, awareness of the community we are located in wherever in the world we find ourselves, we do this by looking at the different cultures and traditions that represent yearly at Preschool. This is of course always on children's terms.
